5 things to know before taking lease
When I was searching for my office, I visited so many places to find my right match. And trust me I was so exhausted that I thought of signing up with some the office spaces that were not my first choice. And got some surprises when I found that some of them are not legally available for commercial use.
It was close, I would have ended up meeting a loss had I not discussed this with my friend. That was several years back however I see same challenges around even today.
so here is your checklist of things to keep in mind for your next deal.
- Property should have alternate entrances (Fire Exits)
- Property should legally be available for aforesaid usage.
- Look for Pending Bills/Dues, make sure you ask owner to clear them beforehand.
- Commercial operations certificate
- Check and read all Clauses in Lease agreement Carefully
